\u201cA comienzos de marzo de 2019 mi cliente me llam\u00f3 y me dijo que quer\u00eda que volase a Rioja en Espa\u00f1a, para retratar a Carlos San Pedro, mente y alma de Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos Pujanza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hab\u00eda estado un par de veces en esta bella regi\u00f3n antes,\nsiempre con encargos fotogr\u00e1ficos. Esta vez era a finales del invierno, con\nd\u00edas m\u00e1s largos y una bonita luz del atardecer. Ten\u00edamos la idea de fotografiar\na Carlos en el vi\u00f1edo, pero no a pie de vi\u00f1a como cabr\u00eda esperar, sino montando\na caballo con la peque\u00f1a ciudad de Laguardia al fondo y un paisaje\ndeslumbrante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las fotos salieron genial y despu\u00e9s quedamos para cenar. Como sabr\u00e9is la cena en Espa\u00f1a normalmente comienza\na las 21-22 h. Nos encontramos a las 19 h. Tomamos unos de vinos en diferentes\nbares de Laguardia y me di cuenta que Carlos conoce a todo el pueblo ya que su\nfamilia ha vivido aqu\u00ed desde hace tanto tiempo\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buen vino y una charla interesante, fue una gran noche para\ncerrar un hermoso d\u00eda en este peque\u00f1o pueblo del norte de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al d\u00eda siguiente qued\u00e9 muy impresionado al encontrar a\nCarlos temprano por la ma\u00f1ana, cuando ya hab\u00eda estado trabajando un par de\nhoras en el vi\u00f1edo\u2026 Es un trabajo dif\u00edcil, pero puedes sentir la pasi\u00f3n que al\nmismo tiempo lo impulsa a salir y producir uno de los mejores vinos que tuve el\nplacer de probar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitar\u00e9 de nuevo Rioja por trabajo y no olvidar\u00e9 la oportunidad de acercarme a saludar a Carlos y a su gran equipo!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paolo\nis an Italian editorial and commercial photographer based in Z\u00fcrich\n(Switzerland). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\nworks for many different clients in Switzerland and has carried out productions\nthroughout Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was the beginning of March 2019, my client called\nme and told me I’ll have to fly to the Rioja region in Spain to portrait Carlos\nSan Pedro, the head and soul of the Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos Pujanza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been a couple of times in that beautiful region\nbefore, always on photo assignments. This time was at the end of the winter,\nlonger days, beautiful light at sunset. We had the idea to photograph Carlos on\nthe vineyard but not as you may expect on foot, it was riding a horse, the\nsmall town of La Guardia in the background and the stunning landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The photos were great, after that we decided to meet\nfor dinner. As you should know dinner in Spain usually starts at 9-10PM. At 7PM\nwe met, had a couple of glasses of wines in different bars in La Guardia, of\ncourse when you walk around with Carlos you do feel that his family has being\nhere for a very long time… he knows a lot of people around!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wine and good nice interesting talk, it was just a\ngreat evening to close a beautiful day in this little town in the north of\nSpain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the next day i was very impressed to meet Carlos\nearly in the morning, he had already been working for a couple of hours in the vineyard…\nIt is a tough job, but you can feel the passion that at the same time fuels him\nto go out and produce one of the finest wines i had the pleasure to taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll be visiting again the Rioja region for work, i’ll\nnot miss the chance to drop by Carlos and his great team at Pujanza!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
